Bellarine Training and Community Hub Centre's Refund Policy and Procedure

At the Bellarine Training and Community Hub we are committed to providing high quality services. In the event that you are not satisfied with the service you have purchased this refund policy explains when we will give a refund. Our refund policy includes the rights you have under Australian Consumer Law, and as such, we are not required to give a refund if you simply change your mind.

FEE FOR SERVICE REFUND POLICY

Refunds will be issued under the following circumstances;

  • If a class is cancelled by management due to lack of numbers or unforeseen circumstances, fees will be refunded in full.
  • If a client wishes to withdraw from a course that is yet to commence, a refund may be issued with an administration fee of $8 deducted from the course cost.
  • If a client wishes to withdraw from a course which has commenced, a medical certificate must be produced for refund to be considered.

ACCREDITED TRAINING REFUND POLICY

The Bellarine Training and Community Hub must comply with the State Government’s fees, charges and refund guidelines when booking students into accredited training. Students are required to pay a $100 deposit on accredited courses of Certificate II and above. These deposits are non-refundable, except under the following circumstances;

  • If a class is cancelled by management due to lack of numbers or unforeseen circumstances, fees will be refunded in full.
  • Exceptional circumstances that will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
  • To claim a refund for exceptional circumstance applications must be made in writing to the Management of Bellarine Training and Community Hub, These may require medical certificates or evidence of why the student can no longer complete the course for consideration of refund.
